USA: Close Guantánamo in 2021

Urgent: More men have died there than have been convicted of a crime.

Guantánamo opened in 2002 - almost two decades ago.

People like Abdul Latif Nasser, Saifullah Paracha and Haroon Gul are locked up in the Guantánamo Bay prison camp without charge or trial. The US has not been able to charge these ‘forever prisoners’ with a single crime in the many years that they have held them. They should be released to live out their autumn years with their families.

The world is watching America right now. We need to make sure Guantánamo is shut down for good.
