Saudi Arabia: Keep your (many) promises

Urgent: Ali al-Nimr, Dawood al-Marhoon, Abdullah al-Zaher and Mohammed Essam Al-Faraj could be executed at any time.

Ali, Dawood, Abdullah and Mohammed could be executed for so-called ‘crimes’ committed when they were children, despite a royal decree announced on April 26, 2020 claiming Saudi Arabia will no longer execute children.

On paper, the royal decree is a step in the right direction. But Saudi Arabia has announced positive steps before and then failed to deliver.

The royal decree is only empty words so long as Ali, Dawood, Abdullah and Mohammed remain on death row in Saudi Arabia.

Add your name to urge Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to end Ali, Dawood and Abdullah’s death sentences and show the world that the royal decree is more than a mere public relations exercise.

To Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia:

We call on you to commute Ali al-Nimr, Dawood al-Marhoon, Abdullah al-Zaher and Mohammed Essam Al-Faraj's death sentences in line with the royal decree shared on April 26, 2020 and release them. Failure to do so is a breach of both Saudi and international law and undermines any claims of reform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Are you sure? The more people who support our campaigns, the more power we have to work with decision makers to end the death penalty and resentence people already sentenced to death.Choose 'Yes' to get emails - you can unsubscribe at any time.
